What is the National Child Care
Currently all PERMATA Child Care Centres and government run Child Care Centres are required to comply with PERMATA Q, the National Child Care Quality Standards which sets standards for inter alia quality assurance in the areas of nutrition, health, safety , furniture ,toys and equipment, curriculum implementation, admin and management and staff development.
PERMATA Q has yet ot be implemented for private Child Care Centres.
The Standards can be found HERE.
How does this impact me as a parent?
If a Child Care Centre has been accredited under PERMATA Q it means that you can be assured that the Child Care Centre has complied with high quality standards of care including qualified staff and has shown commitment to implement best practices for the care of you child.
